Background Facilitates transcription termination by a mechanism that involves rho binding to the nascent RNA, activation of rho's RNA-dependent ATPase activity, and release of the mRNA from the DNA template. RNA-dependent NTPAse which utilizes all four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates.
