Characteristics This mouse monoclonal IgG1 was produced against a synthetic hapten, which is normally not present in humans or animals. Therefore, this mouse IgG1 does not react with any antigen of human or animal cells. This monoclonal IgG1 was purified from mouse ascites. In order to serve as a true negative control, this IgG1 should be used under the identical conditions and at the same concentration as other purified mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibodies.
Purification Purified from ascites fluid by Protein G chromatography.

Format Liquid
Buffer 500 µL of 200 µg/mL monoclonal antibody in 10 mM PBS, pH 7.4, with protein stabilizer and 0.09 % sodium azide.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Monoclonal antibodies should not be stored at a temperature below -25 °C due to the aggregation effect of the protein.
