Wash Buffer 10X Concentrate
Depending on the lot of the product Streptavidin will be produced in Streptomyces avidinii or Escherichia coli.
WBC is a ten times concentrated liquid reagent for washing EIA plates/membranes, applicable in both manual and robotic ELISA and blotting protocols. Mixing 1 Volume of WBC with 9 Volumes of pure deionised water will produce 10 Volumes of ready-to-use Wash Buffer comprising ~0,15M PBS pH 7,2-7,4 plus 0,05% Tween-20 preserved with 250 ppm BND. Prepared Wash Buffer will be stable many months when stored at room temperature away from direct/strong light. When interested in confidently longer storage, please make sure that only 0,2µm-filtered deionised water has been used in preparing Wash Buffer.
