Brand SuperMOUNT™
Characteristics The SuperMounttm Mounting Medium was prepared using a unique, stable formula to preserving fluorescence of fluorescein, rhodamine, Texas Red, Cy3, Cy5, as well as other fluorescent reagents. Sections mounted in the Mounting Medium retain fluorescence during prolonged storage.
Application Notes To mount tissues or cells on a slide, dispense one drop of the Mounting Medium onto the section. Then coverslip and allow the mounting medium to disperse over the entire section. The SuperMount Mounting Medium does not solidify, but remains a liquid on the slide. After mounting, coverslipped slides will not readily dry out. For prolonged storage coverslips can be permanently sealed around the perimeter with nail polish or a plastic sealant. Mounted slides should be stored at 4 °C protected from light.
