Characteristics A DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) inhibitor. RG108 causes demethylation and reactivation of tumor suppressor genes, but it does not affect the methylation of centromeric satellite sequences. In combination with BIX 01294, RG 108 enhances reprogramming.
