Purpose A SIRT2 inhibitor
Characteristics A potent inhibitor of sirtuin 2 (SIRT2) (IC50 = 3.5 µM). AGK2 is >15-fold more selective for SIRT2 than SIRT1 and SIRt3. Inhibition of SIRT2 rescued alpha-synuclein toxicity and modified inclusion morphology in a cellular model of Parkinson,'s disease.
