Purpose A caspase-4 inhibitor
Sequence Z-Val-E(OMe)-Ile-Asp(OMe)-FMK
Characteristics VEID is the specific recognition sequence for caspase-6/Mch2. The inhibitor is designed as a methyl ester to facilitate cell permeability. (CAUTION: If the intended use is on purified or recombinant enzymes, esterase should be added to generate free carboxyl groups).
