详情介绍:
Isotype IgG
Fragment F(ab')2 fragement
Characteristics Concentration Definition: by UV absorbance at 280 nm
Background Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75 % of serum immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulin G binds to viruses, bacteria, as well as fungi and facilitates their destruction or neutralization via agglutination (and thereby immobilizing them), activation of the compliment cascade, and opsinization for phagocytosis. The F(ab) fragment is the portion of the antibody that binds to the antigen target. The F(ab')2 fragment results from cleavage of the antibody molecule in such a way that both F(ab)s remain connected.

Synonyms: Mouse immunoglobulin Fab, F(ab'), F(ab')2, Fragment antigen-binding
Research Area Immunology, Secondary Antibodies
Application Notes Mouse IgG F(ab')2 fragment can be utilized as a control or standard reagent in Western Blotting and ELISA experiments.

Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
