Immunogen: Anti-Ferret IgA was produced by repeated immunization with ferret IgA alpha heavy chain in goat.

Characteristics Anti-Ferret IgA (alpha chain) Antibody detects specifically ferret IgA (alpha chain). This secondary Anti-Ferret IgA Antibody is ideal for investigators who routinely perform titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays. Anti-Ferret IgA (alpha chain) Antibody is ideal for investigators in Cancer, Immunology, and Microbiology research.
Purification Anti-Ferret IgA (alpha chain) Antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Ferret IgA coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Ferret IgA and Ferret Serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other Ferret heavy or light chain isotypes.

Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:500 - 1:2,500

Application Note: Ferret IgA (alpha chain) antibody has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Ferret IgA in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:2,000 to 1:8,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for Anti-Ferret IgA (alpha chain) Antibody.

Western Blot Dilution: 1:1,000 - 1:5,000

Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
