Characteristics F(ab')2 anti-Rat F(ab')2 peroxidase conjugated antibody generated in goat detects specifically rat F(ab')2. This secondary conjugated antibody anti-rat is ideal for investigators who routinely perform titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays.
Purification This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG F(ab')2 and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat IgG F(c) or Bovine, Horse and Human Serum Proteins.

Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:500 - 1:5,000

Application Note: Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
