Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute with 1.0 mL distilled water. Centrifuge product if it is not completely clear after reconstitution. To judge clarity, draw product into a clean pasteur pipette.
Concentration 0.6 mg/mL
Buffer Lyophilized from 0.01 M Tris-HCl, 0.25 M sodium chloride, pH 8.0 containing 15 mg/mL BSA.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Do not freeze! Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
Do not add Sodium azide.
Dilute only prior to immediate use
Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.
