Cross-Reactivity (Details) Minimal cross-reaction to Human Serum Proteins. Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with the heavy chains on rabbit IgG and with light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. This product has been passed through solid-phase immunoasorbent gels to remove antibodies, which cross-react with human serum proteins, but antibodies may cross-react with immunoglobulin from other species.

Application Notes A suggested dilution range of 1:500-1:5.000 is suggested for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections, 1:5.000-1:100.000 for ELISA and Western blotting with chromogenic substrates and 1:10.000-1:200.000 for Western blotting with ECL substrates. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.

Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute with 1.5 mL distilled water.
Buffer Lyophilized from 0.01 M Sodium phosphate, 0.21 M NaCl, pH 7.6 containing 15 mg/mL BSA.
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Do NOT add Sodium Azide! Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.
Storage 4 °C
Storage Comment Store lyophilized product at 2-8 °C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage after reconstitution we suggest the addition of an equal volume of glycerol to make a final glycerol concentration of 50 % followed by storage at -28 °C, with or without aliquoting.
