Cross-Reactivity (Details) Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with the heavy chains on swine IgG and with light chains common to most swine immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins, but antibodies may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

Application Notes A dilution range of 1:500 - 1:5.000 is suggested for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections, 1:5.000 - 1:100.000 for ELISA and Western blotting with chromogenic substrates, and 1:10.000-1:200.000 for Western blotting with ECL substrates. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute to 2 mL with distilled water.
Buffer Lyophilized from 0.01 M Sodium phosphate, 0.21 M NaCl, pH 7.6 containing 15 mg/mL BSA.
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Do NOT add Sodium Azide! Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.
Storage 4 °C
Storage Comment Store lyophilized product at 2-8 °C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid. For long-term storage, add an equal volume of glycerol for a final concentration of 50 %, aliquot and store at -28 °C. Please note that the concentration of protein and buffer salts will be one-half of the original after the addition of glycerol.
