Immunogen Full-length Chicken IgY (purified)

Specificity It reacts with chicken IgY heavy and light chains.
Characteristics Goat Anti-Chicken IgY [HRP] pAb.
Purification This polyclonal antibody is highly purified from goat antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography and then conjugated to horseradish peroxidase.
Application Notes Goat Anti-Chicken IgY (H&L) [HRP] is suitable for immunoblotting (western and dot blots), ELISA, immunoperoxidase electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. The investigator must determine the ideal working concentration for each specific application. The ideal working concentration must take into account such factors as secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, sensitivity of the detection method, temperature, and the length of the incubations. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product. ELISA: 1:10,000-1:30,000. Western blot: 1:1,000-1:20,000. Other applications: user-optimized.

Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Do NOT add Sodium Azide! Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.

Storage Comment The antibody is stable in lyophilized form if stored at -20 °C or below. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-0 °C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20 °C or below.
