Immunogen purified dog IgG from pooled dog serum
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Not reactive in: The antiserum does not cross-react with any other component of the dog immunoglobulin system.
Characteristics Goat anti-Dog IgG Fc, Unconjugated is a secondary antibody which binds to dog IgG FC part in immunological assays.
Application Notes Immunoprecipitation. In immunoelectrophoresis use 2 i1/4l serum or equivalent against 120 i1/4l antiserum. In double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) use a rosette arrangement with 10 i1/4l antiserum in 3 mm diameter center well and 2 i1/4l serum samples (neat and serially diluted in 2 mm diameter peripheral wells. Precipitating titre 1:64 when tested against pooled normal dog serum in agar-block immunodiffusion titration.
Comment

Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to immunoglobulins, since Ig of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Cross-reactivity of antibody has not been characterized in details. No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity.

Reconstitution For reconstitution please add 1 mL of sterile destilled water.

Storage Comment store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes. Reconstituted material can be stoored in +4°C up to 7 days.
