ProductDetails: Biological Activity Comment Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit rhIFN-gamma (Catalog# IFG-H4211) mediated protection of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cells to viral lysis. The ED50 for this effect is typically 1.5- 4 μg/mL in the presence of 2 ng/mL rhIFN-gamma.
Background Interferon gamma receptor 1 (IFNGR1) is also known as CD antigen CD119, which belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. IFNGR1 contains two fibronectin type-III domains and two Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. IFNGR1 / CD119 is receptor for interferon gamma. Two receptors bind one interferon gamma (IFNG) dimer.
