简单介绍:
CarnosineDipeptidase1(MetallopeptidaseM20Family)(CNDP1)(AA28-508)(Active)protein(Histag)
详情介绍:
Characteristics This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 54.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 60-66 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Purity >95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Sterility 0.22 μm filtered
Endotoxin Level Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
ProductDetails: Biological Activity Comment Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to cleave carnosine ( beta -Ala-L-His) in a two-step assay. The specific activity is >250 pmol/min/μg.
Background Beta-Ala-His dipeptidase is also known as Carnosine dipeptidase 1 (CNDP1), CNDP dipeptidase 1, Glutamate carboxypeptidase-like protein 2, Serum carnosinase, CPGL2, which belongs to the peptidase M20A family. CNDP1 is found in serum and ***** nervous central system. CNDP1 preferential hydrolysis of the beta-Ala-|-His dipeptide (carnosine), and also anserine, Xaa-|-His dipeptides and other dipeptides including homocarnosine. The catalytic activity of CNDP1 is inhibited by the metal chelator 1,10-o-phenantrolin and the inhibitory concentration 50 % (IC50) is 5 μM.
