简单介绍:
BoneMorphogeneticProteinReceptor,TypeIB(BMPR1B)(AA14-126)(Active)protein(Histag)
详情介绍:
Characteristics This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 13.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 20 kDa on a SDS-PAGE gel under reducing (R) condition due to glycosylation.
Purity >96 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Sterility 0.22 μm filtered
Endotoxin Level Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
ProductDetails: Biological Activity Comment Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit rhBMP4 induced alkaline phosphatase production by ATDC5 mouse chondrogenic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.02-0.15 μg/mL in the presence of 30 ng/mL of rhBMP4.

SDS-PAGE: of reduced rhALK6.
Background The bone morphogenetic protein receptor, type IB is also known as BMPR1B or ALK6 is a protein which in humans is encoded by the BMPR1B gene. Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) signal through the BMP type I and type II receptors to regulate cellular processes, including embryonic development. The type I BMP receptors activin-like kinase (ALK) 3 and ALK6 share a high degree of homology, yet possess distinct signaling roles. Decreased expression of BMPR-IB correlates with poor prognosis in breast cancer patients and leads to increased cell proliferation of breast cancer cells in vitro, and BMPR-IB mediates an inhibitory effect on breast cancer cells. Researchers found that BMP-2-induced apoptosis was mediated by BMP-RIB in osteoblasts and occurred independently of BMP-2-induced osteoblast differentiation.
