详情介绍:
Characteristics This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 12.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 13 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
Purity >97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Sterility 0.22 μm filtered
Endotoxin Level Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Background Thioredoxin-2 (TXN2),a member of the thioredoxin family,is also known as mitochondrial (MTRX or Mt-Trx) and TRX2.TXN2 have two important domains: Redox-active center and Transit peptide. TXN2 has an anti-apoptotic function and plays an important role in the regulation of mitochondrial membrane potential. Also, TXN2 could be involved in the resistance to anti-tumor agents. TNX2 possesses a dithiol-reducing activity as well.
Molecular Weight 12.8 kDa
