简单介绍:
Myocilin(MYOC)(AA33-504)(Active)protein(Histag)
详情介绍:
Characteristics This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 32 kDa. The protein migrates as 33 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to most of the MYOC was cleaved at Glu 214, generating a C-terminal fragment.
Purity >95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Sterility 0.22 μm filtered
Endotoxin Level Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Background Myocilin, trabecular meshwork inducible glucocorticoid response is also known as MYOC, GLC1A, GPOA, JOAG, JOAG1, TIGR. Myocilin / MYOC contains one olfactomedin-like domain. Myocilin is believed to have a role in cytoskeletal function. MYOC is expressed in many occular tissues, including the trabecular meshwork, and was revealed to be the trabecular meshwork glucocorticoid-inducible response protein (TIGR). The trabecular meshwork is a specialized eye tissue essential in regulating intraocular pressure, and mutations in MYOC have been identified as the cause of hereditary juvenile-onset open-angle glaucoma.
