Application Notes ELISA: This antibody can bind to virus-bound immune IgG and can therefore detectanti-FeLV, FIV, FCV, FHV, FCoV/FIPV and FPV IgG activity in ELISA. Western Blot: This antibody detects a band of approximately 50.0 kDa on purified feline IgGunder reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Monoclonal antibodies should not be stored at a temperature below -25 °C due to the aggregation effect of the protein.

Storage Comment Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8 °C for one month or (in aliquots) at -28 °C for longer.
