简单介绍:
anti-CD59antibody(CD59)(PE)
详情介绍:
Immunogen Human Peripheral Blood T cells. Spleen cells from immunised DA rat fused with the Y3/Ag1.2.3 meloma cell line.
Clone YTH53-1
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity Clustered at the fourth leucocyte typing workshop to designation CD59. YTH53.1 reacts with CD59 transfectants. It enhances antibody-mediated lysis by homologous complement and reacts with GPI-linked antigen of 18-20 kDa size which is broadly expressed on human leucocytes and erythrocytes. Putative ligand for CD2.
Purification Ion exchange chromatography
Alternative Name CD59 (CD59 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD59, an LY6 like protein expressed in human lymphoid cells, regulates the action of the complement membrane attack complex on homologous cells. It is a potent inhibitor of the complement membrane attack complex action. It acts by binding to the C8 and/or C9 complements of the membrane attack complex, thereby preventing incorporation of the multiple copies of C9 required for complete formation of the osmolytic pore. This inhibitor appears to be species-specific. CD59 is also involved in signal transduction for T-cell activation complexed to a protein tyrosine kinase.Synonyms: 20 kDa homologous restriction factor, HRF-20, HRF20, MAC-IP, MAC-inhibitory protein, MACIF, MEM43 antigen, MIC11, MIN1, MIN2, MIN3, MIRL, MSK21, Membrane attack complex inhibition factor, Membrane inhibitor of reactive lysis, Protectin
Gene ID 966
NCBI Accession NP_000602
UniProt P13987
Research Area Cardiovascular, Atherosclerosis, Hematopoietic Progenitors, Tyrosine Kinases, Innate Immunity, CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Pathways Complement System
Application Notes Flow cytometry: We do not recommend using this antibody in lysed whole blood techniques due to inhibition of staining caused by CD59 expression on erythrocytes.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
