Use the Blocking Solution B+ for blocking of Streptavidin or Polystreptavidin coated surfaces after completion of the coating. Cover the whole surface with the Blocking Solution B+. It is recommended that the blocking process is carried out for 1 up to 2 hours at room temperature. This should take place under mild agitation. After finishing the blocking step the Blocking Solution B+ should be aspirated and the material is thoroughly washed with distilled water or sodium chloride solution (physio-logical saline solution - 0.9 % NaCl). The coated and blocked material can be dried after the final washing step at room temperature overnight or at 30 °C for about 4 hours. The dried material can be stored in foil bags with desiccant at +2 to +8 °C.
