Immunogen Mouse IgG Fc fragments
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Based on immunoelectrophoresis, reacts with the heavy chains on mouse IgG but not with the light chains on most mouse immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against mouse IgM, or against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins, but antibodies may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

Application Notes A dilution range of 1:500-1:5.000 is suggested for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections, 1:5.000-1:100.000 for ELISA and Western blotting with chromogenic substrates and 1:10.000-1:200.000 for Western blotting with ECL substrates. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute to 2 mL with distilled water.
Buffer Lyophilized from 0.01 M Sodium phosphate, 0.21 M Sodium chloride, pH 7.6 containing 15 mg/mL BSA (IgG-Free, Protease-Free).
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Do NOT add Sodium Azide! Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.
Storage 4 °C
Storage Comment Store lyophilized product at 2-8 °C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage after reconstitution, we suggest the addition of an equal volume of glycerol to make a final concentration of 50 % glycerol and store at -28 °C. Please remember that the concentration of protein (and buffer salts) will decrease to one-half of the original after addition of glycerol. Alternatively, the product may be aliquoted and frozen at -78 °C or below, in the absence of glycerol.
