Cross-Reactivity (Details) Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with the heavy chains on chicken IgY but not with light chains on most chicken immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins, but antibodies may cross react with immunoglobulins from other species.

Purification Isolated from antisera by Immuno Affinity Chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads
