Characteristics F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG Antibody is ideal for investigators who routinely perform titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays. F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG Antibody is ideal for investigators in Cancer, Immunology, and Microbiology research.
Purification This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG F(ab')2 and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat Fc or Bovine, Horse, and Human Serum Proteins.

Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:200 - 1:1,000

Application Note: F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG Antibody has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate code # NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:5,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG Antibody.

Western Blot Dilution: 1:500 - 1:2,500

ELISA Dilution: 1:5,000 - 1:50,000
