Cross-Reactivity (Details) Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with the heavy chain portion of human IgA. Does not react with the heavy chains on human IgG or IgM, or with light chains common to most human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins, but antibodies may cross-react with IgA from other species

Purification Isolated from antisera by Immuno Affinity Chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads.
