Background Immunoglobulins are heterotetramers composed of 2 immunoglobulin heavy and 2 immunoglobulin light chains. The immunoglobulin heavy chain has a constant region and variable region. The constant is used for immunomodulation, the variable region makes one half of the antigen binding F(ab).

Application Notes Human IgG F(c) Antibody is suitable for immunoassays where specificity to the immunoglobulin Fc region is desired. Antibody has been tested by ELISA, western blot immunoblot, and immunohistochemisty. Optimal concentrations in immunoassays should be determined by the researcher.
