Immunogen Sheep IgG purified from pooled sheep serum, shown to be pure by IEP
Cross-Reactivity (Details) The unconjugated immunoglobulin gives a single arc when tested by immunoelectrophoresis against normal sheep and goat serum. Identity has been confirmed by double diffusion (Ouchterlony) against sheep and goat serum and anti-sheep/goat immunoglobulins of known specificity. Cross-reactivity with human, rabbit, mouse, and rat serum proteins is minimized by insoluble adsorption.

Application Notes Recommended for use in immunohistochemistry, Western blotting and enzyme immunoassays (EIA) and has been QC tested as detailed below. The titers reported should be used as guidelines for determining the working dilution in the user-s system. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. The addition of 0.05-0.1 % Tween 20 to the conjugate diluent buffer is recommended to prevent non-specific binding in EIA. It may also be advantageous in other assay systems. EIA: To give an A450 nm 1.0 using wells coated with sheep serum at 1:2.000 and TMB as the chromogen: 1:12,800-1:25,600. IHC: Indirect on frozen sections of human tonsil with sheep anti-human IgD as the primary antibody: 1:50-1:100 Western blot: Using human IgG as antigen with a loading of 1 µg/lane, and sheep anti-human IgG as primary antibody at a concentration of 25 µg/mL and aminoethylcarbazole as the chromogen, strong heavy and light chain bands can be visualized at a conjugate dilution of 1:20.000.
