Chromeo 505 can be excited in a range from 480 -515 nm, which enables excitation by a green laser. Even if the emission spectrum is shifted towards longer wavelength by some nm, filters designed for fluorescein can be used with Chromeo 505 conjugated antibodies. In contrast to fluorescein, Chromeo 505 exhibits a large tolerance to a broad pH range and high photostability. The Chromeo 505 conjugated antibodies have absorption and emission maxima of approximately 514 and 530 nm, which are compatible with common excitation sources and filter sets.- Molar extinction Coefficient: 70,000 M -1 cm -1 (measured at A max )
