ProductDetails: Biological Activity Comment Biological Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized rhTNFRSF21 /DR6 Fc Chimera at 10 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind biotinylated human APP (Fc Tag) with a linear range of 0.025-0.5 μg/mL.
Background Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 21 (TNFRSF21) is also known as death receptor 6 (DR6), which is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. TNFRSF21 contains one death domain and four TNFR-Cys repeats. TNFRSF21 / DR6 has been shown to activate NF-κB and MAPK8/JNK, and induce cell apoptosis. Through its death domain, this receptor interacts with TRADD protein, which is known to serve as an adaptor that mediates signal transduction of TNF-receptors.
