简单介绍:
Latexin(LXN)(AA2-222)(Active)protein(Histag)
详情介绍:
Characteristics This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 26.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 32 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
Purity >95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Sterility 0.22 μm filtered
Endotoxin Level Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Background Latexin (LXN) ,a member of the protease inhibitor I47 (latexin) family, is also known as endogenous carboxypeptidase inhibitor (ECI), tissue carboxypeptidase inhibitor (TCI) and protein MUM, which is highly expressed in heart, prostate, ovary, kidney, pancreas and colon, moderate or low in other tissues including brain. LXN is hardly reversible, non-competitive, and a potent inhibitor of CPA1, CPA2 and CPA4. LXN may play a role in inflammation as well.
Molecular Weight 26.6 kDa
UniProt Q9BS40
