简单介绍:
Lymphotoxin-alpha(LTA)(AA35-205)(Active)Protein
详情介绍:
Brand ActiveMax®
Characteristics This protein carries no "tag". The protein has a calculated MW of 18.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 15 kDa and 19 kDa on a SDS-PAGE gel under reducing (R) condition due to glycosylation.
Purity >95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Sterility 0.22 μm filtered
Endotoxin Level Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
ProductDetails: Biological Activity Comment Biological Activity: Measured in a cytotoxicity assay using L929 mouse fibrosarcoma cells in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.05-0.5 ng/mL.
Background TNF-beta is also known as Lymphotoxin-alpha (LT-alpha or LTA), Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 1 (TNFSF1), which belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family. TNF-beta can form homotrimer with itself or form heterotrimer of either two LTB and one LTA subunits or (less prevalent) two LTA and one LTB subunits. The homotrimer of TNF-beta is secreted and the heterotrimer is membrane-associated. The homotrimeric form of NF-beta binds to TNFRSF1A/TNFR1, TNFRSF1B/TNFBR and TNFRSF14/HVEM. In its heterotrimeric form with LTB binds to TNFRSF3/LTBR.
